Join me as we embark on this fascinating journey through the world of random shit fun facts! For today’s lecture we shall speak about the siblings of the mighty Lubertus!

As we know Lubertus the Great has two siblings, one of which is like totally 30 times the square root of 9 cooler. But I digress.

Looking at the sure-to-be-a-masterpiece drawing up above you might think to yourself “Hmm they all look the same”. You are 150% percent correct (added an extra 50 for today is a wednesday. dont ask why that matters.)

They all do in fact look the same!

They wear the same clothes!

They have the same faces!

This brings us to the difference:

Yes, two of them are apparently males. Thats why I added the red lines. No those are not carrots. Im fairly certain my drawing is accurate, as according to a reliable source (Alex), they are in fact red and puny.

Rule #2. Tell Bart’s siblings about disgusting things, they like it.

kornel the post looks good. plus another thing…the screen works now but he wants to send it in anyways using that as an excuse to get a new one.

Instead of describing my reaction let me show it to you. Here it is:

Yes, this situation does in fact require the use of a lolrus to emphasize my point. But thats not enough. I will also quote Hugh Grant (I’m watching too many romantic comedies lately):

“That is quite possible to most ridiculous idea I have ever heard!”

Why? Let’s see!
1) The laptop was bough tin the US. So good luck getting warranty sorted out in Poland. This means..
2) Shipping your laptop to repair center in.. Ireland! And this means…
3) Waiting a looong time for it to come back. 2 weeks without computer.
4) And really, since its not noticeable, why bother?

Ahh Bart. WIll you ever learn?

I have a friend who has a rare form of perversion/fetish. He reads forums waaay too much. Especially about gadgets he has. Most normal people go to a forum to either:

1. socialize (I guess)
2. Help out other people because they like being thanked and also like just generally sharing their knowledge.
3. Get help
4. Geek out. Thats probably the same as #1 though.

And then theres that rare case of people of who read posts just to obsess about them. A prime example – our very own Bart. Actually scratch that. We dont own him, neither is he “ours”. If we had him we would sell him to some passerby. Not that we would actually succeed in doing so. Life is tough.

Back on topic (yet again). Bart got his Macbook Pro. Nevermind that it had 4GB of RAM for which he paid the Apple premium price of “whatever-it-cost-it-wasnt-worth-it” dollars. He obsessed about every issue there was on the Macrumors.com forums, and thought that he had it. He reinstalled OSX THREE times. Ok one time wasn’t because of the forums – he screwed up boot camp by trying to install Windows XP from a cd he found on the frickin’ SIDEWALK. Formatting the drive was the easiest way to fix it.

Of course, I was the one that had to tell him how to fix it. Wonderful. People, I am not tech support! They outsourced that job to India. So I was getting pretty annoyed. And then this arrived in my mailbox today.

Subject: NOOOOOOOOO problem with my mbp

Nooooo,
i have the horrible screen issue. the stripes at the bottom of the screen. What do i do?

At this point I seriously considered the idea of telling him that I will fix his macbook and instead blending it in my smoothie machine. Amazing what people can do to you with just a few too many support questions.

We still love Bart though. In a friendly way of course. Except for Alex, there may be more to his love…but thats another story! To conclude, Bart brings joy to our lives.
