Pres. Obama Wins Nobel Peace Prize/Moon explodes

President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. The Nobel site also seems to focus on “Obama’s efforts for a nuclear weapon free world”.

In more important news, the USA declares war on the moon.

A NASA program sent a huge-ass rocket into the friggin moon.
The program LCROSS slammed a big ole’ expensive rocket into a crater in the moon, with a trailing thingamabob clicking pictures to look for any ice or traces of water underneath the surface of the moon.

We at SP recommend you find the nearest shelter. It’s gunna be raining Cottage Cheese in a few minutes. Damn NASA for laughing at my warning letters and telling people to digg them. Now who’s laughing.

Where The Wild Things Are

For those of you who are not familiar with the well known and loved book Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, this may seem somewhat strange. But to the rest of us its pretty cool and amazing! I know they look weird, but I’m so glad they kept the look that the illustrations depicted. October everyone!

Happy new year everybody!!! Well, another year has gone past so fast! I hope you all have a great year, and had a good closing of 2008.

We here at SP have loved this last year. ’08 consisted of the idea of our website, to the purchase in June of our lovely domain, to the three or four evolutions our site has undergone. We now have over 70 posts, many more comments, and even some external websites are linking to our posts! We’d like to thank all of you, and wish you a marvelous new year of ’09 with Super-Poultry!
